The word integrate comes from the Latin "to make whole." I have found when we integrate these practices they connect with the physical, mental and emotional aspects of being a human. All these things are interrelated but the mental and emotional side often get neglected in Western culture. The Inner Resilience model builds up the necessary inner capabilities to meet the inevitable daily challenges. It invites a way of being that accepts the wave of what is happening without falling into a wave of "this shouldn't be happening to me." Finding the courage to change things that can be changed and accepting things that can't is a liberating way to live.
